War in Libya has entered in a new phase.Forces loyal to embattled leader Moammar Gaddafi have laid land mines. Human Rights Watch has claimed the mines were placed in mountains in the far western part of Libya.
The mountains contain many revolutionaries, who first reported the mines to Human Rights Watch.
Revolution force members claimed to have removed more than 150 mines from the area while HRW verified it had also discovered mines in six locations.
Antipersonnel landmines are banned in most countries as they pose a huge threat to civilians.
